Piper Perabo
Piper Perabo was nominated for the
Golden Globes as a stage, television and film actress. Born in Dallas, Texas,
and raised in New Jersey, she graduated summa cum Laude from Ohio University.
In 2000 she was cast in a starring role in Coyote Ugly. She was seen in
"The Prestige" by Christopher Nolan with Hugh Jackman &
Christian Bale, "Because I Said So" as well as "Because I Said
So", along with "Because I Said So", with Diane Keaton and Guy
Pearce. In addition to "Cheaper by the Dozen", Lena Heady, Matthew
Goode and the crime thriller "10th & Wolf", she also starred
with James Marsden and Dennis Hopper. She appeared alongside Bruce Willis,
Joseph Gordon Levitt, Emily Blunt and Jeff Daniels in Rian Johnson's sci-fi
action film "Looper.". Perabo was Annie Walker on USA Network's spy
drama "Covert Affairs" for five seasons. Perabo was also a character
in ABC's legal drama "Notorious" in 2016. "And is set to appear
on Netflix in "Turn Up Charlie" co-starring Idris Elba. She also made
her Broadway debut in Neil LaBute’s controversial play "Reasons to be
Pretty" that she nominated to the Tony Award for the Best Play. Perabo is
also an activist, as well as her roles on the stage and screen. She's an
activist and a Voice for the International Rescue Committee to increase
awareness of the refugee crisis around the world and assist those affected by
conflicts, persecution of religions and oppression of the political globe.
Piper lives in Los Angeles and New York City. Graduated from Toms River (NJ)
High School North class of 1994. She was part of all school musicals. Senior
year , she was Katie in Me in St. Louis, junior year she played Cousin Fan and
Lady Brighton in Mame; the year after sophomore, she was Lady Brighton and Lady
Brighton respectively. During freshman year she was a choreographer and dancer
in How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. In high school, she served
as the president of the National Honor Society and the editor of the school
literary journal, Polaris. She was also an Marinerettes dancer in high school
football games.
