Mary-Louise Parker

Mary-Louise Parker was born August 2nd in 1964. She is an American actress. After her Broadway debut in Craig Lucas's Prelude to a Kiss (1990) and for which she was nominated for a Tony Award, Parker rose to fame for performances in films such as Grand Canyon (1991), Fried Green Tomatoes (94), Bullets over Broadway (94), A Place for Annie (94), Bullets over Broadway (94), Bullets over Broadway (94), Bullets over Broadway (94), Bullets over Broadway (94), Bullets over Broadway ( 1994), A Place for Annie (94), Boys on the Side (1996), The Portrait of a Lady (1996) and The Portrait of a Lady (1996) and The Maker (1997). In the NBC television show The West Wing she starred as Amy Gardner, and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Sustained actress in a Drama Series. Her role as Harper Pitt in HBO's acclaimed mini-series Angels in America in 2002 brought her an award of a Primetime Emmy Award as well as an award from the Golden Globe. In 2006, Parker won the Golden Globe Award. In 2006, Parker was nominated to the Primetime Emmy Award. (2013), and Red 2 (2013). Parker was back on Broadway in 2019 and she was in The Sound Inside. This production won her her second Tony Award for Best Actress. Since 2007, Parker has contributed articles to Esquire magazine, and also published her memoir Dear Mr. You, in the year 2015. The show was a starring role for Roma Guy in the ABC miniseries "When We Rise" in 2017. In 2018, she was an advisor to the political on Billions which is the Showtime series.
