Alyson Lee Hannigan

Alyson Lee Hannigan was born on March 24, 1974. American actress and host on TV, she is the daughter of Alyson Lee Hannigan. Her credits include Willow Rosenberg (1997-1903) in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lily Aldrin (2006), for which she was awarded the People's Choice Award (2009), and Michelle Flaherty (99-2012). Hannigan hosts Penn Teller: Fool Us since 2016. Teller The Fool Us premiered in the year 2016. Hannigan is also Claire Clancy, an animated character from Fancy Nick (2018-2018). Hannigan is the only child of Emilie (Posner) Haas (a real estate agent) and Alan Hannigan (a Teamsters worker). Hannigan's mother is Jewish and her father is Irish. At age four, Hannigan began appearing in commercials. She moved to Hollywood with her mom when she was 11 years old. In Santa Barbara, her father was an agent for casting. She auditioned. After high school, she attended California State University Northridge. She was a member the Alpha Chi Omega fraternity in Northridge and earned an undergraduate degree in psychology. Hannigan appeared in the 1988 film My Stepmother Is an Alien. Seth Green was one of her co-stars. Later, he was her co-star on Buffy. Her first appearance on TV in 1989 when she was cast as an actress on ABC's sitcom Free Spirit. Hannigan was just a teenager when was a babysitter for the children of Bob Saget, her How I Met Your Mother co-star. Hannigan was later chosen to portray Willow Rosenberg (Buffy Summers' best friend) in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The actress was given famed national spotlight in 1997. She also took care of Bob Saget's children in How I Met Your Mom. Angel allowed her to play Willow's character in a few episodes.
