Annie Wersching Bio

 Annie Wersching (born March 28 1977) is an American actress best known for her role as Renee Walker in the American television show 24 as well as for her voice work and motion capture for the character Tess in the video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She went to the high school of Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis which she graduated from in 1995. She competed in Irish dance throughout her childhood and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she earned in 1999. Wersching began her acting career with an appearance on the television show Star Trek: Enterprise, and moved on to guest starring roles in shows such as Charmed, Killer Instinct, Supernatural as well as Cold Case. From March through November 2007 she was the main character of Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap show General Hospital. She has also worked in theatres such as Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire as well as the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching played FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season time in 24, Wersching played guest roles on a variety of shows, including CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which also features the co-star of 24 Kiefer Sutherland). 2014 saw her becoming a regular series regular for the Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching was the National League's catcher on 2009's Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed Wersching played the voice actor as well as the mo-cap actor Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character on Twitter prior to her appearance was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer which premiered on December 7 in 2012. Wersching was cast as the role of the Borg queen in Star Trek the second season of Picard, which will premiere in September 2021.
