Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28th, 1977. She is an American actress. Her roles include Renee Walker on the American television show 24. Motion capture and voice acting were as well for Tess in the Naughty Dog videogame The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis. She went to the high school of Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis which she graduated from in 1995. She competed in Irish dance in her early years as well as a member of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. She has an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999. Wersching began her acting career as an actress on Star Trek: Enterprise. She then went on to play guest roles on shows like Charmed Killer Instinct, Charmed, and Supernatural. She played Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC's Daytime soap opera General Hospital from March 2007 until November 2007. Her other credits in theater include Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching has also been seen in a variety of guest parts on shows such as CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli & Islands Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. 2014 saw her as a regular series character on the Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching was the National League's catcher in 2009's Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed that Wersching played the voice actor as well as the mo-cap actor Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Her character was teased on Geoff Keighley's account on Twitter before she was made public in the story trailer which was shown on the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching would play the Borg Queen in the sequel to Star Trek: Picard.
